Ye Old Root Cellar

Steve and Troy spent time out on our trails making a new green trail. You access the green trail off the red where it meets up with Timber Ridge. Troy and Steve cut the new trail over one of our lots in Timber Ridge. The resort owns 3 lots most on the red trail and one lot that is the green trail. The neat thing about the green trail is there used to be a farm in Timber Ridge and the golf course used to be cow pasture. The cows at night were driven down the road over to the farm that is now the trailer park next to Hilltop. The old barn is still standing in the trailer park. It did collapse a couple of years ago and the owners rebuilt it

Back to the Olde Root Cellar. At the top of the hill, Steve found an indent in the woods with a lot of artifacts in the ground. Old jars and things.. With the outline of the foundation we are pretty sure it is an old root cellar. Steve put his artifacts on the shelves you see for others to check out.
