Willow at Sunset

I stole this picture from a friend who was snowshoeing on the Willow Flowage this weekend at sunset. If you have never taken the time to explore the Willow it is truly a treasure worth exploring especially if you have your own boat in the summer. Otherwise snowshoeing at sunset on ice is also a great way. It is thousands of acres of wilderness flowage with very few houses only 10 - 15 minutes from the resort depending on what part you head out on. Getting lost on the flowage if you do not know your way around is a possibility. I know several groups that love to fish on the flowage and say it is as close to remote canadian fishing as you can get in Wisconsin.
