Warming up and Cooking

Warm day in the Northwoods. Cliff is feeling the melting going on under his feet. What day will he sink is the question? Warm weather has the maple trees running full time. We had to pull out our outside evaporation pan and get it boiling over a fire to keep up with the trees. Nice thing is the fire burns up all the sticks in the yard and gives us an excuse to clean up the place Jake, home from college for spring break, was helping Steve with more of the gate poles. Nice thing about all that bark from the gate poles is it makes great fire starting for the maple syrup. Grant was not quite awake in the above pictures
