Walk in the Woods

Late afternoon and we headed out for a walk on the blue trail. The snow is not deep enough for snowshoes at the moment so it was a nice walk in the woods with the dog Dog checking out all the smells on the way Made it out the outlook at the bog Tracks of this and that headed all over the bog Vistas along the trail You never know what treasures others find in the woods and leave on stumps. Part of our land the trail goes through was used as the resort dump back in the 20's, 30's and 40's. Old bottles are not uncommon to find We made it to the top of the big hill half way down the trail. Kitty Springs is through the tree tops Someone was pooped out and ready to head back to his spot by the fireplace
