No posts for awhile as we headed off on a road trip for Spring Break with our good friends Kris and Mike to Branson Missouri

We went to college with Kris and Mike and we were married the same year. 2022 marks 30 years for both couples and we decided it was time for a road trip to celebrate

Along the way we found some road side attractions. The biggest fork in Springfield Missouri

Of course a stop at Dolly Parton's stampede

What better way to travel than the train for a trip into the mountains

What did we see on the trip? Well I guess you had to be there

A very nice time was had with great friends

All trains rides though must come to an end...

Time to go home and what happens in Branson stays in Branson

Back home another ice storm blew through and snow was still on the ground

A big thank you to Ruth Grady for keeping an eye on the place and taking care of Mack while we were gone. Her final night she had Penny too as Steve was off on an adventure as well.

I knew the resort was in good hands

Once back the maple trees have decided spring has sprung. While we were gone it was cold and the trees shut off. Temps in the 40s on Saturday got the trees flowing again

We have plenty of cabins open for the next few weekends if you want to come up and watch the lake melt with us

For Summer I have broken up Kaubashine the June 4 - 11th week. I now have 3 nights open June 4, 5 and 6th

Red Pine and Bear Den are also open the June 3 - 10th week. I will consider breaking up the week if you start or stop on a Friday with a 4 night minimum to start out. Red Pine is also open nights before that starting May 29th

June 17 to the 24th we still have Bear Den and Red Pine open. We are then booked out till August 19th when Red Pine opens up

If interested in any of these opening give a call
