We had a taste of spring when we did not want it in February and now we are getting winter back in March.

The guys decided it is better to retreat inside. Red Pine is the winner of their skills and attention

First improvement is the fan will not be just recirculating the air back into the kitchen but actually venting it out to the outside.

I have waited a bit to share some news. I will be going in for a 2nd round of cancer treatments starting April 8. They have found some micro lesions in my lung. Thankfully it was caught early. Last time I went through treatment it was fall into winter. It will be a new adventure to do chemo in spring and summer with a resort full. We appreciate all the love and support Troy and I have had from guests and friends as we have entered this unexpected journey. Remission is the new mission! Some days are going to be easier than others with my energy and how I feel. Just wanting to get to the otherside of treatment to remission. Thank you for understanding and not be surprised when you see a hat or scarf on my head this summer. We know and are in contact with so many people each week it is not something we can hide. If find it much easier if my resort family knows and is not surprised each week as new groups arrive. Send all the good vibes, energy and prayers you can our way and we will get through this together.
