Resort Life
Pilliated Wood Pecker has been spotted eating on old oak trees around the resort. Downy and Hairy Woodpeckers are much more prevalent around the resort. Spotting a Pilliated is a special treat. They are about twice the size of the other 2 and beautiful. They are also known for destroying trees with huge holes
I missed the picture but I hear there were 6 loons spotted at one time feeding together on the lake last night
