As with everyone else this time of year, time is precious and life gets hectic getting everything ready for Christmas. Put on top of regular Christmas stuff 10 cabins of people arriving and more coming and going and you see why there has not been a blog entry for a few days. (a basketball game Friday and a 12 hour swim meet on Saturday also played into keeping us running) So today I am posting the final pics that came as favorite pics from over the year at the resort from guests 100_1636 This is one of my favorite pics sent in by Kris Davis. They survived a rained out week, 6 days of rain to catch this beautiful picture when the sun came out the final day 2010-07 Wisconsin 110 You can always depend on the 4th of July crew to have some interesting pictures. This one was taken waiting for Rich and Gloria to come to their surprise anniversary party. Where are they? Sent in by Kim Flower 2010-07 Wisconsin 136 Things getting a little wild as the night went on and Kate from Ireland showing everyone how they eat cupcakes in Europe DSC0331 What is a set of pics from summer without at least one from the horseshoe tournament. The god of horseshoes "Oh No" being ceremonially pelted with sand before presenting the award. Thanks for sharing Kim 409393731408[1] Playing games with family is always a favorite, and what is better then Rock'em Sock'em with your cousin. Thanks Christine Barden for sending these in 988204731408[1] Shortly after returning from vacation the Barden family lost their 4 legged friend Loredo to cancer. RIP Loredo 498204731408[1] The Barden kids enjoying turtle hunting in the back bay of the lake Jay with squirrel waiting The last picture was sent in by Karen Sorenson who caught this Blue Jay enjoying a snack while a squirrel creeps up behind Thanks to all who sent in their pics. I will post some new pictures tomorrow. We are supposed to get about 4 inches of snow tomorrow into tomorrow night. Snowmobile trails opened last Friday although they have not marked many of the lakes waiting for a little more ice
