Ice Retreating

Why no entries the last few days and a filthy dirty mini van full of mud? Well that is a tale for another day... We returned from our crazy adventure to find Cliff nearing the edge of the ice. We were happy he did not drop while we were gone. Mack was happy to see his swimming hole had returned With temps not rising much and snow on the ground it could be awhile yet.. It was amazing to see how much the ice had retreated in just 2 days I think some kids forgot to take their sleds off the ice before we left.. It was strange to see reflections back in the lake Snow on the shoreline but open water Shamrock in the snow Snowy steps up to Kaubashine Trail to Eagles Nest somewhere under the snow. I just raked the trail a few days ago and now it is covered in snow
