What a difference a few days made. These pics were all taken Sunday afternoon at about 65 degrees. We took a couple of days to escape to the south to the Horicon Marsh. We returned to find big changes in the snow and ice conditions
What everyone wants to know, how is the lake doing? Lots of melting occurred while we were gone. Changing colors of the ice
Shoreline showing signs of loosening up
Cliff starting to tilt
Docks slowly coming loose from the icy grip of winter
We returned to cook off the last of our maple syrup over an open fire
Rolling Boil burns it away quickly. We got about 1/2 of our stock pot emptied.
Chipmunks have been spotted out and about
