It was a perfect day to head down the snowmobile trails and so we closed up the resort turned off the phone and down the trail we went. We took Lower Kaubashine to Camp 9, to trail 12. Trail 12 is windy and through the woods and led out to Cedar Falls. Took a break at the falls to see the much smaller falls in the winter

Not roaring now. The next time we stop here will be for the spring Muskie and Northern Spawn in April or early May
We made it down to County Y and headed over to the Bearskin over some more windy trails through the woods

Heading up the Bearskin to make it to the Brewry for Lunch. Beer Cheese Soup at Brewry has to be the best in the area along with the Blue Cheese Burger. We flew across Lake Minocqua doging icefishermen in Stack's Bay and took a tour out 70 West down some of the narrowest trails and bridges I have gone over to make it to The Blackbear Bar. We saw more deer than other snowmobiles. Riding mid week on Wednesday on a cold February Day is what makes living Up North. Back home to light the woodstove and unthaw
Looking for pictures of Craig destroying things... I have to find my other camera, it was missing this morning so tune back in
Also if you have a bunch of pop tops for Ronald McDonald house, I have a neighbor Brigit Nitschke (yes there is a reason for Packer Fans that the name sounds familar) who is saving them for her niece with spinal bifida. I told her I would put out the call to have people bring them up and I would deliver them to her. So clean out your cupboards or start saving them for me and I will get them to a good source. Still collecting Soup Labels and Box Tops for the kids school if you find them in your drawer as well bring them along. Thanks!!
