Great Rates and Free Skiing

Free skiing at Winter Park check out below. If you are sitting at home this weekend wondering what to do, head on up north. We lower our rates to mid week rates all wekend and free skiing at Winter Park! What more could you ask for. I have Wildflower and Restawhile open at 115/night and Wigwam and Norway starting at 130/night for groups up to 4 with fireplaces. There is also a micro brew fest on Saturday at the Campinelle Center in Minocqua. Cheap cabins, free skiing and beer!

The 16th Annual Winter Trails Day offers children and adults brand new to snow sports the chance to try snowshoeing and cross country skiing for free, and to discover the great fitness and social benefits with these easy-to-learn winter sports.

Winter Trails Day involves almost 100 resorts and Nordic Centers nationwide, and gets 11,000 kids and adults on the snow each year.

Folks who have never cross country skied or snowshoed can come out to Minocqua Winter Park between the hours of noon and 5pm and get a free ski or snowshoe trail pass. The first 10 people who register for Winter Trails Day and show up before 1pm also get free rental equipment. A free group lesson will take place at 2pm (check in at the Winter Park Ski Shop to sign up for this lesson).
