First Snow?

This is the rumbelings I have heard about for Sunday. Jake came home saying people at school were talking about a foot of snow for Sunday. I don't think that is true but we may see the first snow of the season on Sunday. I am not counting the sleety icey rain we had the other day that drenched my laundry on the line
From the National Weather Service
ATTENTION WILL TURN TO THE COLD FRONT THAT WILL SWEEP ACROSS THE AREA ON SUNDAY. 850MB TEMPERATURES WILL PLUNGE THROUGH THE DAY ON STRONG COLD ADVECTION. LATEST RUNS DIFFER ON THE EVOLUTION OF THE COLDEST AIR AND HOW IT MOVES ACROSS THE AREA...BUT THAT SHOULD MAKE LITTLE DIFFERENCE WITH WINDY CONDITIONS AND MORE THAN LIKELY FALLING TEMPERATURES DURING THE DAY SUNDAY. WAY TOO EARLY TO ADD THAT DETAIL IN THE FORECAST WITH THE FALLING TEMPERATURES. FOR SUNDAY NIGHT...WINDS BECOME MORE FAVORABLE FOR LAKE EFFECT SNOWS ACROSS VILAS COUNTY. COULD BE THE FIRST ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL OF THE SEASON OVER THE NORTH. WARM GROUND TEMPERATURES SHOULD TEMPER SNOWFALL AMOUNTS...SO ONLY EXPECT A COUPLE INCHES OF SNOW BETWEEN SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY NIGHT. HAVE TRENDED MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES DOWNWARD FOR MONDAY AND TUESDAY BASED ON NEW RUNS TODAY.
