First Flakes and a Few Flakes Heading out on the lake

I saw the first flakes of the year coming down today and headed to the lake to take a pic, not expecting to see anyone going out in boats. Only crazy muskie fishermen are nuts enough to go out at this time of year. The Cikowski Crew heading out with sleety snow greeting them. I later learned they raised one really nice muskie. October and November is the best muskie fishing of the year as the muskies get ready for winter. I think I prefer May/June spawning seasons to fish as it is much warmer then
Cody, smile on his face, hat on his head and not in school today! Gone Fishin with Uncle Jimmy, Fritz and dad on Lower Kaubashine. Love to see the excuse he comes up with to give his teacher on Monday. The smile is priceless. Stay Warm!
