Deer Camp 2010. The Andrae crew enjoying some time by the fire before heading out in the woods after the big buck this last weekend. Thousands of acres of paper company land are open to public hunting in Hazelhurst. We offer our 2- 40 acre plots for hunting based on seniority at the resort. So far as of Monday morning it has been a slow hunt with the deer winning. 2 bucks from a different group at Bear Den were taken down Cedar Falls Trail The Evans Crew ready to hunt the 40 across from the resort. They have 3 permanent stands set up back in the 40 and enjoy walking from the cabin into the woods for hunting. Usually they get atleast a doe off the 40, so far this year the first weekend has been slow, they will be back next weekend to hopefully not get skunked Everyone in early and ready for opening day to head out in the trucks.
