Chris Moran and Amanda Hixson tied the knot this weekend at Dillman's resort in Lac Du Flambeau. Amanda's family has been coming to Black's Cliff since her dad was a young boy same age as Craig spending hours at the raft chasing bikini's and crappies going back to the early 50's. Tom is our longest running guest who I do not think has missed a summer at Black's. Amanda and Chris wanted to have the wedding at the Cliff but we are not equipped to handle a 200 plus wedding so they looked around a settled on Dillmans and had a wonderful Northwoods party.
No Hixson wedding is complete without a bagpipper
Happy to see Mike Hixson and his wife Roxanne and kids who have missed a few summers due to Mike's deployment in the Marines. Nice to see you back in the woods!

Trig's catered the wedding and made this beautiful birchbark cake and a wonderful dinner. Kudos to Trig's
I never knew you could get jars made into wine glasses and they fit right in to a wonderful outside wedding
Sarah Snodgrass and Laura Hoadley together again! These girls spent every summer together building sandcastles at the beach and many hours sunbathing on the blue dock. Glad to see them back together. Sometimes friendships formed at the resort are even better than with friends back home due to the quality of time put together every 2 weeks in the summer

A good time was had by everyone at the wedding and the rain held off. Anyone looking to do a wedding in the Northwoods check out www.dillmans.com they do an awesome job on creating a special day for couples in the Northwoods
Chris and Amanda picked out their wedding gift while they were up last winter and I got them done in time and names put on.
Anyone heading to a wedding that wants a nice gift, stockings make a good gift and I have all my patterns done at the moment. They fly out fast so the more warning I have the better chance you will have to have the largest selection.
