Colors in the Rain

It has been a great week in the Northwoods if your names are Cassidy and Kyle and your school does not start til next week. They have been loving spending some end of summer time with their parents doing everything from swimming to fishing and horseback riding. Oh to be 10 again and being off school for one more week than most other kids in the United States. Time to go home today though and with the rain coming down it makes it a little easier to get in the car and accept the inevitable going home. They will have some great stories to share on the 1st day of school essay about what you did on summer vacation The rain was slowly coming down and was much appreciated. The colors have slowly started bleeding through the green and with the damp rain were beautiful this morning in the few places they are poking out One of my favorite maples by Shamrock ready to show its colors Drips off the cedar trees this morning Down at Holiday this maple has been teasing us with color for the last week or so. With the dark damp weather the colors are beautiful Just a few peeks of color on the hillside The rest of the resort is still pretty green but colors are coming soon
