Catching Up

The world goes on today and we have peace and quiet up here if anyone feels they need it after the election on both sides. Its been a long year for all of us. Time to unwind before the holidays.

They also decided to remodel the wood shed a little. It gets so damp in the shed we were having some rot issues so you will now notice some holes in the walls of the shed that are helping dry things out year round

Always something happening at the woodshed

We have finally gotten our 2nd generator at the resort. Many this summer were with us as we discovered that only part of the resort had been hooked up to our generator system. Adams generators will be doing the last hook up this week. Once this happens electric disruptions should be at a minimum. I know we will sleep better in storms both rain, ice and snow storms

You might have noticed a change in our social media, newsletter and blog voices. Our kids and family are helping the old people get with the times. Grant, Bex, and Katie worked together to do the previous blog entry about trails in the area. Grant and Bex also worked together to get our new newsletter off to everyone in email. We will have a way of signing up for it soon on our website. Ali, Ben's wife has taken on our instagram account and I think some Tik Tok posts. It is nice to have some help with different perspectives. I am continuing with Facebook but you might see some cross over from Ali into Facebook if I am busy

Quick update on me. We started the trial at Mayo a month ago. We will know more in a month and a half how it is working. In the meantime if you call you might hear me tired. Doing the best I can during treatment to keep the ship sailing

One last note, our online reservation is being switched to a new company. Amy and I are working hard to get things switched over to the new system. Reservations can only be done over the phone until we get it up and running . We have openings every weekend this month. Thanksgiving we have Birchwood, Bayview and Bear Den open. Call for details
