It is blackberry season. Time to head down our secret firelanes after the berries.
Picking in our extra secret location. The hardest part of blackberry picking is dealing the prickers and mosquitos. Mosquitios defend blackberry patches with a vengence bigger the berry the more the mosquitos
Best way to find berries is to follow the bear paths through the prickers. They knock em down and make a nice wide trail to the best berries. Just pick quickly and get out
Along the way we spotted this butterfly on the purple thistle
Time to surrender to the mosquitos and bears and retreat for another day! Next time bring along DET
