Bird Correction

2 people have emailed me Rich Snodgrass and Mary Backus correcting my bird identification. I was thrown off thinking it was a loon on the raft because I had heard the call of the loon in the water and it took off before I could get my telephoto out to get a better shot. Instead what we have in the picture is a Double Breasted Cormorant and a very territorial upset loon in the water who is letting the Cormorant know that it is not welcome on Lower Kaubashine. The winter plumage and the loon calling in the water threw me off.
I still have not seen a pig fly or a loon on the raft. Thanks to Rich and Mary for clearing up the fowl problem
