Boating Policies

Please let us know if you intend to bring a boat to Black's Cliff Resort. We need to make sure there is adequate parking and as well as make arrangements for launching your boat.

• Your boat must be under 18' in length.
• Jet skis, wave runners, and other personal watercraft are not allowed.
• The boat launch is at Hilltop Resort. They charge $5 to launch but at the same time give you a coupon for the bar for $5.
  
• Launch hours are before 10 am and after 4 pm on weekdays during the summer.
• All day on Saturday is open for launching.
• No wake is allowed within 100' of the swim area, docks, swim rafts, or the shoreline anywhere on the lake.
• Waterskiing and Tubing are not allowed between 6:00 PM and 10:00 AM.

If bringing your own motor, please ask which boat to put your motor on. Some of our boats are just row boats and some are better for motors.

In order to prevent invasive's in the lake, we insist all guests wash their boat and empty all bilge and water tanks before launching. We have a hose set up for this, please ask if you have not already washed your boat.
